‘throwing rattlesnakes in ones back yard’

Mosques increasingly not welcome

LONDON — Europeans are increasingly lashing out at the construction of mosques in their cities as terrorism fears and continued immigration feed anti-Muslim sentiment across the continent.

Mosques Increasingly Not Welcome

I just ran across this article on USAToday. While reading the article my spirit said, do you blame them? The article speaks of the apprehension that Europe is experiencing in allowing Mosque to be built in their communities. I would to God that Islam would come to the realization that you are not going to find many in society that promote the ‘strong arm’ tactic of radical Islam; Convert or die! The world does not see this as a ‘peaceful religion’.

Some analysts call the mosque conflicts the manifestation of a growing fear that Muslims aren’t assimilating, don’t accept Western values and pose a threat to security. “It’s a visible symbol of anti-Muslim feelings in Europe,” says Danièle Joly, director of the Center for Research in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick in England. “It’s part of an Islamophobia. Europeans feel threatened.”

I realize that the vast majority of Islam does not embrace the ‘convert or die’ strong arm of radical Islam, but when the majority dwell in silence the vast majority are labeled the same.

I would liken this to a man who through rattlesnakes into his back yard and then allowed his children to frolic and play in the midst of them. Would you? Sooner or later they will bite you.
