‘let thy word be like the word of one of them and speak good’

In the 22nd chapter of 1st Kings, King Jehoshaphat (King of Judah) request that King Ahab (King in Israel) seek the will and word of God concerning going to battle in Ramoth-Gilead.  King Ahab petitioned all the prophets, about four hundred men which encouraged King Ahab to go up to Ramoth-Gilead and prosper, but Jehoshaphat requested that they summon a man of God besides, that they may enquire of him.

Ahab agreed to Jehoshaphat’s request and sent a messenger to summon Micaiah the prophet of God, who was in prison by the way. When Micaiah was petitioned to come and speak to the kings, he  was instructed by the messenger…

“that the words of the prophets had declared good to the king with one mouth: let thy word be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.”

What we see from this portion of God’s word is that there are those out there that do not want to hear the truth. The fact is, they are vehemently opposed to it and will do any and everything to silence  it. Not unlike today. We see it was true in the case of pastor Stephen Boissoin and his preaching the word of God concerning homosexuality.

Alberta Pastor Fined $7000 and Ordered to Publicly Apologize and Remain Silent on Homosexuality

OTTAWA, June 9, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) – On Friday, the Alberta Human Rights Commission ordered Alberta pastor Stephen Boissoin to desist from expressing his views on homosexuality in any sort of public forum. He was also commanded to pay damages equivalent to $7,000 as a result of the tribunal’s November decision to side with complainant and homosexual activist Dr. Darren Lund. The tribunal has also called for Boissoin to personally apologize to Lund via a public statement in the local newspaper.

What the Alberta Human Rights Commission does not understand is that the will of man can not silence the word of God, and that we ought to obey God rather than man.

The tide is turning in the America and we see the law is on the side of the homosexual and is set for the cause of everything that is godless. For the world knoweth its own and hateth the things of God. If the world hates the Christian, know that it hated Christ before it hated us. If we were of the world, the world would love us, but because we are not of the world, the world hates us. Know this my brothers and sisters, if it hates us, it hates our Lord. If it hates our Lord it hates the Father.

We are living in the day when that which is right is considered wrong. That which is bitter is considered sweet, even when it is blatantly opposed to the clear teaching of Gods word…..

Human Rights Commission: “Kill the Christian” Lyrics OK, but Criticize Homosexuality? No Way

Alberta Human Rights Commissioner Lori Andreachuk says “it doesn’t matter if Christians are exposed to hate – they’re not vulnerable. She writes, a Christian cannot be the victim of hate speech,”

The world is liken to Commissioner Lori Andreachuk, in that it wants our word to be like the word of one of them, and let that be good. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith.

‘not an argument… but a choice’

A dear brother in Christ turned me on to a song by Phil Keaggy ‘Little Ones’. May the truth of the song and pictures in the video touch a people and a nation that has found it acceptable to kill babies while protected in their mother’s womb.

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate…..

‘the face of a terrorist’

Photo by Bash Back of its own members, who disrupted a Michigan church service by flinging condoms around the sanctuary.

ter⋅ror⋅ist - /ˈtɛrərɪst/  [ter-er-ist] –noun

1. a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.

2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others.

These overtones are becoming all too familiar. For years we have seen this image of masked rebels roaming the streets of Palestine or standing in the United Kingdom’s public square shouting “death to the USA and the UK”. But this past September we saw similar scenes at the Republican National Convention as we watched rebels run the streets of St. Paul, Minnesota setting fires, breaking windows and destroying both public and private property while publicly displaying their acts of terror. This terror seems to be a perennial spirit, a seed if you please, that is being nurtured to bring forth its fruit in due season… this fruit is flourishing my friend.

On Sunday, November 9, 2008  we saw this rebel spirit of terror push itself to a new low, at least in America; a band of about 30 homosexual extremists stormed a church in Lansing, Michigan USA. This terrorist group was not FARC, Abu Sayyaf, Hezbollah or Al Qe’ada, but a group that calls themselves ‘Bash Back’. Though they carry a different name, their heart and spirit is the same… ‘terror is their game’.

In a statement posted on the Internet, Bash Back confirmed..

A group stood up, declared themselves fags, and began screaming loudly. Upon hearing the loud interruption, other affinity groups went into action. A team that had been hiding under the pews in the closed-off balcony dropped a banner and pulled back the curtains to reveal “IT’S OKAY TO BE GAY! BASH BACK!”. Another group threw over a thousand fliers to the entirety of the congregation. The fire alarm was pulled. Queers began making out in front of the pastor. And within a matter of minutes, everyone had evaded the guards and made their escapes.

The statement continued, “Let is be known: So long as bigots kill us in the streets, this pack of wolves will continue to BASH BACK!”

I had read the testimony of Walid Shoebat that was born in 1960 to an Arab Muslim father and an American Christian mother, Walid grew up mainly in the village of Beit Sahour, near Bethlehem. Shoebat was initiated into Yassir Arafat’s Fatah terror group.

The scriptures teach us that from the abundance of ones heart the mouth speaketh. Consider the fruit of Shoebat’s heart…..

“Sharpen my bones into swords and make my flesh into Molotov cocktails,” Walid Shoebat

The words of Shoebat, an avowed terrorist speak volumes. They are saturated with a spirit of rebellion, hatred, death and destruction.

It was not long before Walid’s education led him to get involved in various terrorist activities. He routinely stirred up riots and lynch mobs, throwing firebombs and rocks at soldiers and pelting Jewish worshippers at the Western Wall. He even beat an Israeli soldier, with the intent to kill, but the soldier escaped at the last second. From PLO Terrorist to Lover of Zion

No matter what name is given to the organization or what color the mask, the heart and the spirit of the terrorist is the same, but the heart can change.

“In 1993 I asked the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to reveal to me whether the Bible was indeed corrupted as I was taught or if it were the truth and the Koran was the false document,” Shoebat said. His search for truth led him to a saving knowledge in Jesus Christ. Today he is an evangelical Christian preaching a true message of peace.

Shoebat no longer wears the keffiyeh (scarf) to hide his identity, for the Lord of Glory has circumcised his heart and it now reveals His glory. By Walid Shoebat’s own testimony he was immersed in terrorism because his heart and mind was blinded to TRUTH…

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:14-18

True liberation from terror can only come through Jesus Christ!
