‘the suppression of light continued’

I posted this in 03/2009. We are some 6 years later and see the spiritual degradation that has taken place in the United States of America. It will only get worse, less she repent and turn from her wickedness.

Kim Davis is only a testimony that we are at a level 2. It will get much worse with each passing day.

Consider speaking for the word of God.

A Word From Malachi

On March 22, 2009 I posted a report from the Associated Press ‘the suppression of light brings forth utter darkness’ concerning the Obama administration’s endorsement of a U.N. declaration calling for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality.

Comments from the article detailed the administration expressed a concern for human rights around the world by saying…

Well, anyone that keeps up with the persecution of Christians through out North Korea, China, India, Iraq, Africa, etc… will understand that our government does not only care about the inhumane acts perpetrated against the body of Christ, but has taken a ‘blind eye’ approach to these heinous human right violations.

How can something so blatant receive nothing more than this ‘blind eye’ view?

It is because we are living in a world that is dominated by a spirit of darkness. In order for this darkness to prevail, light must be suppressed.

I have been considering…

‘If You Like Your Religion, You Can Keep Your Religion’? — And Common Core’s Salute To Islam

In two landmark decisions, Engel v. Vitale (1962) and Abington School District v. Schempp (1963), the US Supreme Court established what is now the current prohibition on state-sponsored prayer in schools.

For some 50 years, we have seen a concerted effort by the enemies of the cross to push God from our school system. Now we see the other god openly taking His place. Woe when the screams come from this United States when Sharia Law is implemented. We can liken it to the voice heard lamenting with great mourning and weeping in Rama. If you are not aware of the event, consider the voice of the prophet Jeremiah…

May God have mercy on America for our rebellion.

Right Punditry

Common-Core-Muslim-CivilizationsRon Wagner, who said he admittedly doesn’t normally pay as much attention to his son’s school assignments as he should, just happened to read from his son’s world history book a statement which read, “There is no god, but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.” Wagner found out that his son is being indoctrinated in the religion of Islam in his 10th grade class from a history book used in school districts across the State of Florida.

“Students were instructed to recite this prayer as the first Pillar of Islam, off of the board at the teacher’s instruction,” Mr. Wagner, who says he himself is not religious, told WFTV. Wagner, with a little further investigation, found out that his son was given an “Islam packet” and required to make an Islamic prayer rug for the world history class. Inside of the book is a chapter dedicated to the “Rise…

I Met a Man…

I am re-blogging this post from ‘The Rural lowegian’ http://ruraliowegian.wordpress.com/2015/01/07/i-met-a-man/

There is an old saying that seems to be quite prevalent in a man… “we see things not as they are, but as we are”.

We see evidence of this in the life of King David when the prophet Nathan was sent of God with the parable of the rich man that had taken the poor man’s one ewe lamb for his wayfaring friend.

David was ready to ‘kill’ him as just recompense, while completely oblivious to what he had done to Uriah the Hittite.

In this post from the rural lowegian we find a man that had a heart that was tender toward the leading of God’s Spirit… a man like King David. A man after God’s own heart.

Sometimes our actions do not reveal the desires of our heart until the Spirit intervenes.

Thanks for the post rural lowegian!

The Rural Iowegian

I once met a man who said he was thirsty so I handed him a bottle of water, but he would not drink.  He then said he was hungry so I handed him my lunch, but he would not eat.  Finally he said he was lost so I asked him where he was going, but he would not speak.

What I did not understand was he was thirsty for the word, he hungered for the spirit, and had lost his way from the path of righteousness. So I laid down the mirror and picked up my Bible to quench my thirst, quash my hunger, and find my way again; the man was me.

2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 4,900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 8 years to get that many views.

"Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me." Martin Niemoller

“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, ‘But we knew nothing about this’, does not He who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not He who guards your life know it? Will not He repay each one according to what he has done?” Proverbs 24:11-12
